How On-Device AI Works

All AI features in KeyLoft use Apple's on-device machine learning frameworks. Nothing is sent to a server. The AI reads your local KeyLoft database — your properties, tenants, income, expenses, and maintenance history — and generates outputs based on that data. This makes the AI private, fast, and functional even without an internet connection.

AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete. Always review and verify AI outputs before making financial decisions. KeyLoft is not a substitute for professional accounting or tax advice.

Accessing AI Features

AI features are integrated throughout the KeyLoft interface rather than in a single menu. For example:

  • The receipt scanner appears when adding a new expense
  • Voice entry is available from the + button on Expenses and Maintenance screens
  • Forecasts and predictions appear on the Dashboard
  • The lease clause analyzer is accessible within a lease record
  • The weekly digest is delivered as a notification and accessible from the Dashboard

Premium must be active to use any of these features. If you tap an AI feature on a free or Pro plan, you'll be shown the upgrade screen.
